Wind Power
12 марта 2023 г.
Wind power is the result of wind energy in the useful form of the wind, using wind turbines to generate electricity, windmills for mechanical power, wind pumps for pumping water or wells, or sails to drive ships.
It is known that the use of wind energy dates back to 2800 BC in the Middle East. But in 1887, the Scottish Scholar Professor James Blyth built the first mill that produced wind power electricity; in 1891 he was patented in England. In the United States in 1887-88, Charles Francis Brush produced electricity using a larger and more engineered mill than James Blyth's mill. He provided electricity to his home and laboratory until 1900.
As of 2021, the electricity generation of wind power plants (RES) worldwide has reached 1870 TWs (terawatt hours). This means 7% of the electricity used in the world. Today, wind turbines are used from home gardens, parks, mini-systems with battery storage; It is applied at every scale, from medium-sized systems that provide electricity to factories and give the excess electricity they produce to the grid, to power plants that provide electricity to cities.
As Tekpan family, we offer uninterrupted energy in low voltage areas with our industrial panel and cabinet products. With our sensitivity to occupational safety and the environment, we are proud to continue to emit energy at home and abroad, even in the most difficult environments and conditions.
